I think that Alexis doesn’t “fit in” with the other castmates. It isn’t a matter of intelligence, she is somewhat naive & insecure and Jim likes to keep her that way.
When she was at the Dr. office Jim was very tender and supportive of her when she was freaking out. I noticed that when he standing in the hallway he was very focused on her.
He does what a husband should do. He guides, nourishes and protects and, you know, we’re just joking about Alexis lack of intelligence. She’s fine and she is just the brunt of our jokes. I think she walks to the beat of her own drum, as we all should. She is quite typical of an OC housewife, don’t you find?
