Can it be that the marriages of all the Real Housewives of DC were doomed once they were cast for the show?  First there was Cat Ommanney and what’s his name, then Micaele Salahi and what’s his name, then Stacey Scott Turner and her husband split and now this.

Mary & Rich are splitting after 26 years and 5 children.

Divorcing

Said Mary:

“While I have the deepest respect for my husband and wish him the very best, we have grown apart”

Well that. just. sucks.

Perhaps reality tv isn’t so good for marriages.  No.  I think rather that marriage is a difficult thing and most couples, after they’ve been married for quite some time, become more like roommies.  It sounds like this could have been what happened here.

A cast reunion, sans Michaele

On a lighter note, Bravo Andy was in the DC area last week and met with our favourite ladies: Stacy Scott Turner, Lynda Erkiletian, Catherine Ommanney (the hair’s so cute, Cat!), and Mary Amons in Bethesda on Friday.  Notice Michaele Salahi missed the event.  Whew! Lucky for them.
