Reality can kill a marriage

According to the Yahoo website, OMG!, Kris Jenner is secretly trying to drive a wedge between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom in order to boost ratings for the couple’s reality TV show, according to reports, and rumors are circulating that Kourtney about to fire her mom because of financial issues.

Jenner aka the “momanager,” is reportedly trying to “brainwash” Khloe into getting into more arguments with Lamar to create drama – but instead it is destroying the pair’s marriage.  Destroying may not be the right word, but Lamar would rather not do the show at all and focus on his career, which he feels is suffering because of the show.

“Kris is constantly telling Khloe that marital conflicts equals ratings. Kris has convinced Khloe that if it weren’t for Lamar, she would not have her own reality show and that if she wants another season she needs to embellish the conflicts in the marriage because that’s what viewers want,” a source told HollywoodLife.com

Now, there’s a mom for you, more interested in the money than in the happiness of her children.  (we already knew that, didn’t we?)

I wonder at what point these people decide that it’s time to just live their lives instead of whoring themselves out for a bloody dollar.  I hope these kids develop the balls to take a stand for themselves and their life together and tell mom where to shove it.
